Charities we have supported

Child Bereavement UK

Child Bereavement UK supports families and educates professionals when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying, or when a child is facing bereavement.

Freddie’s Wish funded training for 42 schools across Warwickshire which equates to around 650 children every year benefiting from the training that we have offered. However, this is just a drop in the ocean in comparison to all the children that we would like to help.

In addition, we have also funded bereavement training for 170 healthcare professionals. This is something that we are really proud of, as it is so important to improve the quality of care that bereaved families are receiving in the most difficult time of their lives.

Our charity also funded the provision of a bereavement practitioner in Warwickshire for two days per week throughout 2019.

Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance

The Air Ambulance offer a life saving service and run solely upon donations so make yours count. On average the Helicopter attends 3 missions a day with each mission costing averagely £1,700.

The Air Ambulance arrived at the accident scene and were the ones to revive Freddie before taking him to Birmingham Children’s Hospital at speeds no land ambulance could achieve. This was to give him the best fighting chance and give us as a family a chance to say goodbye when sadly no more could be done.

The work the crew do is so commendable and admirable and really does deserve your support.

Birmingham Children’s Hospital

The Children’s Hospital were nothing more than perfect. They went above and beyond to try and save Freddie and also to make sure that my family and I were kept well informed at all times.

We have already raised an amazing £10,000 (including gift aid) for the hospital, but please keep donating as sadly there work is never done.

There are so many beautiful children in that hospital fighting for their lives and being so unbelievably brave who need your support. Please help the hospital keep up its phenomenal work and hopefully save many more children!!
