We have had a very busy start to 2016 putting your generous donations to good use. The headlines so far are as follows:
– We have made significant donations to Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance and A Child of Mine to support their excellent work
– We are funding bereavement training for education professionals in Warwickshire through Child Bereavement UK
– We held our first free paediatric first aid session in Dunchurch Warwickshire (see image above) which was fully subscribed and we are planning to run another one during April (contact us via info@freddieswish.org if you would like to attend)
-We are also thrilled to have been adopted as ‘Charity of the Year’ by accountancy practice, Price Pearson from Kidderminster. They will be raising funds for Freddie’s Wish throughout 2016 and will be running a number of fundraising activities during the year. We are particularly looking forward to their quiz evening on Wednesday 25th May (more details to follow)
In addition to all of the above, we are planning to enter a team in to the Wolf Run in September and the Great South Run in October so please let us know if you are interested in joining us.
Finally, for the more adventurous out there, several brave (or foolish!) souls have already signed up for a Freddie’s Wish skydive. Again, if you fancy taking part, please drop us a line at info@freddieswish.org
We are really grateful to each and every one of you who has supported us so far. Please help us to spread the word about Freddie’s Wish so that we can help more bereaved families and continue to provide free paediatric first aid courses to help save young lives.
Thank you as always
