In light of the national mourning that’s being experienced due to the beloved queen’s passing, it felt timely to write a little piece about our bereavement support and who can access it, as we are aware the sombre feeling may be quite triggering for anyone who’s loved and lost too and as the Queen herself said ‘Grief is the price we pay for love.’
Our bereavement support service is for any parents or carers who have lost a baby or child, from the moment of conception up to any age. We offer a range of support options depending upon where you’re at in your grief journey to make sure that we’re offering you the most valuable support and comfort when you need it most.
We want you to know that there are no barriers to our support and if you fall under any of these categories we are here for you:
Our support can be delivered individually or to you as a couple or alternatively we can offer support to both parents but you can be seen individually by a different counsellor.
We aim to provide you with seamless support throughout your grieving journey and we hope we can make the most unbearable time a little more bearable.
